Southeast Asia: A Season of Opportunity

At Christmas, amazing opportunities arise for our teams who work in Southeast Asian countries that are predominantly Buddhist. In Thailand, schools invite them in. Across Thailand and Cambodia, community leaders ask them to bring music, joy, and hope.  All doors fling open for us to share the true meaning of Christmas.

Right now, our teams are preparing their biggest Christmas outreach yet, and with your prayers and generosity, they can boldly share the name of Jesus in people’s own language.

Thailand:
FEBC Thailand will once again launch its powerful Christmas Give with Love outreach,  uniting 450 local churches and Christian organisations and rallying 4,500 volunteers across the nation to share the Good News.

Last Christmas, 11,403 people came to faith after hearing about Jesus’ love in their own language, and students and teachers from 265 schools heard the true meaning of Christmas, many for the first time. This year, the vision is even bigger, and with your support, the impact can reach further than ever before.

With the backing of local authorities, churches will step out to share the gospel in their communities. They are praying to see 110,000 people attend Christmas services and events across Thailand, while bringing joy to 50,000 underprivileged children through toys and gifts that point to God’s ultimate gift of salvation.

The outreach doesn’t stop there. FEBC will multiply this impact through media, engaging Thai celebrities, singers, and influencers to share testimonies and songs of hope on-air and online. Daily Christmas broadcasts across radio, television, and social media are expected to reach over 6 million people nationwide.

FEBC Thailand is engaging Thai celebrities to share the true meaning of Christmas through daily online- and on-air Christmas broadcasts.

This incredible God-given opportunity is possible because of your obedience to His mission. Your prayers and generosity equip FEBC Thailand to combine on-the-ground celebration with innovative media, bringing the story of Jesus to hearts and homes across the nation on an unprecedented scale.

Cambodia:
In Cambodia, where many believers quietly face rejection and even persecution from their families and communities, churches are boldly proclaiming the hope of Jesus like never before.

This Christmas, local churches are partnering with Voice of Love Cambodia to host a major concert in Kampong Thom, praising God through worship, music, and preaching. The event is expected to draw 3,000 people in person, with another 25,000 joining online through Voice of Love’s livestream, some of whom will be hearing the true meaning of Christmas for the very first time.

With your support, the team aims to expand these Christmas outreaches across all 25 provinces in the next 25 years so the name of Jesus is heard in every corner of Cambodia.

Your prayers and generosity fuel these bold steps of faith, enabling us to seize the opportunity for thousands across Southeast Asia to encounter the life-changing message of Jesus.

Reach thousands this season with the gospel.
