Ido is a Japanese man in his 50s with not many people in his life. After encountering Internet broadcasts from FEBC Japan, he felt he had to contact the office.
He said, “I am not a believer of any religion, nor have I been to a Christian church in my life. Still, I have been listening to your broadcast for four months now. May I share something today that I have felt and experienced during these four months?
“It was the very day after I first heard the FEBC broadcast. I was cycling, enjoying the ride around a big lake not too far from my house. Feeling beautiful sunshine and a refreshing breeze, I heard the voice of Jesus saying, “I am with you”!
“I have never experienced such a wonderful happy moment in my life. In this broadcast I heard the speaker say, ‘It is not about the religion of Christianity, but we believe in Jesus Christ Himself.’ He also taught about baptism and other basic things, and I felt free from the feelings of inferiority being an outsider of the church.
“Ever since, I have sensed the presence of Jesus Christ in every comfortable breeze.
“To tell the truth, I have been depressed these past few years, not being able to really be myself. It was a great surprise that Jesus visited me saying, ‘I am with you.'”
“Through my experience, I think the human voice that comes through radio is very special. Because you are focused on the voice, the message comes to you stronger than with a picture. FEBC is powerful. I will keep listening to your program carefully. Thank you!!”
Thank God for the power of radio and Internet broadcasting. Pray that many hear the message that they are not alone in the world but that Christ is walking the road with them.
