God’s Word: accomplishing what it promises

It’s often too easy to take for granted our access to Bible study. Church small groups, growth groups, name them what you will, meet regularly across Australia to learn more about God’s Word.

The Bible contains the mind of God and His will for each one of our lives. Paul the Apostle says in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
This is why FEBC Thailand along with its broadcast programs, remains committed to its Bible Correspondence Course. Almost 41,000 people have completed the course since its inception, which is broken down into three units, with six lessons in each unit.

Here are what some of the course participants have to say:

“Before I have taken your Bible Correspondence Course I didn’t know much about Jesus, but after I’ve taken the lessons I know more and I can apply it in my daily life. I have been willingly receiving Jesus as my Saviour. I intend to continue my learning to the next lessons,” said Mr.Apiwat, Nakhonrajchasima Province.

“Since I have learnt God’s word, my life has changed a lot. My life is getting much better as I have listened to God’s teaching. I felt that I have received a lot of God’s blessings. Thank God that He has changed my life,” said Mr.Yanan, Nongkai Province.

“I have received Jesus Christ because He healed my husband, and after that my life has been transformed a lot. I have been cleansed from my sin by the Holy Spirit. God has taken care of me and I got peace from Him. It’s because of everlasting love and mercy from God, I have faith in Him more and more. I become stronger by learning from the lesson in the program that I listen to, and read the bible, pray, always spend quiet time with God and therefore I have experiences in following God,” said Mrs Nakhon, Samutprakan Province.

How wonderful we can trust the Word of God will accomplish what it promises. In Isaiah 55:11 it says, “…my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”

God sent His word to accomplish His perfect will in our lives. These promises reassure us and bring comfort to our lives in our times of trial. Praise God His word offers comfort and reassurance to our listeners in Thailand as they study.
