This Christmas season, we celebrate a remarkable story of transformation and hope that exemplifies the impact of your support through FEBC's ministry.
Meet Nai*, a young man from Laos who came to know Christ, became a passionate follower of Jesus and is now a disciple-maker in a country that persecutes Christians. Through FEBC’s work among ethnic communities, Nai discovered the Gospel in his heart language, Hmong, via our ministry on Facebook.
Many ethnic communities across Asia, like the Hmong, Mien, Lahu, and Tai Dam, have limited access to the Gospel due to language barriers. However, millions of people can now hear the Gospel for the first time through our radio broadcasts and internet ministry.
Nai’s journey is inspiring. His passion for learning led him to study English via YouTube as he dreamed of becoming a tour guide. Yet his life changed when he found FEBC’s ministry. Contacting an FEBC pastor, Nai began a discipleship journey and witnessed God’s power when his sister-in-law, who was sick, was healed. Despite facing persecution, Nai pursued his new faith and eventually became a pastor, eager to share the Good News with others.
Christians in Laos face immense challenges. It's illegal to be a Christian, and religious activities are often forbidden. Despite this, our team, including Nai’s pastor, broadcasts Gospel messages in people’s heart languages using radio, Facebook, and Zoom.
This season, I invite you to support FEBC’s mission through our J316 Gift Catalogue. Your support brings the Gospel to forbidden places and to hearts longing for hope, just like Nai’s.
