Listener’s lives changed in Thailand
Jonathan Moritz, FEBC Thailand’s liaison for International Ministries and the FEBC Thailand team recently travelled to villages outside of Bangkok to visit listeners who regularly communicate with our FEBC broadcasters.
There Jonathan relayed that they met Orasa, who was ecstatic to meet her “best friend,” our Thai programmer, who takes all her calls. She proudly displayed and thanked the team for all the Christian reading materials she had been sent, which she has thoroughly read. Orasa’s mother, who works at the Buddhist temple, had prohibited Orasa to practice her new faith because their only source of income came from the temple. In the meeting, our team boldly asked her permission to allow Orasa to attend church on Sundays, to which she agreed. The leaders of the church also offered to provide her transport to church each Sunday.
