I am writing to you to share some important, on-the-ground insights into the current situation in Ukraine, and how individuals and the church in Australia can come together in prayer for a country in crisis.
As our role at FEBC Australia is to support and partner with individuals, mission-minded churches, and organisations; it is for this primary purpose that I write to you, as I know you have a personal connection with the work of our mission organisation.
It is at times such as this that we rely on one another, as partners in the work of the Gospel, to bring our prayers and petitions for our brothers and sisters going through the toughest of times.
Despite the threat to their lives and families, staff like Igor, Irina, Olesia and Sergey share their faith boldly and continue to bring Good News to the people of Ukraine. You can view their requests and updates here: FEBC Australia | “Let Them Hear”
Please uphold them in your family prayers, church services and prayer meetings. You may use our website as a ministry tool to mobilise prayer and uplift the spiritual needs of our FEBC Ukraine team at this time.
Igor, based in Kyiv, recently shared his concern regarding the situation: “It is a very dangerous time…we hear the sound of sirens…and I want to ask every one of you, please pray for us…it is really scary; we want to have peace in our country”.
FEBC Australia will continue to provide country updates, videos and specific prayer requests from FEBC workers on ground in Ukraine as we partner in prayer.
Please share these important resources on our website with your family, wider congregation and church community.
I look forward to partnering with you as we uphold our brothers and sisters in prayer for Ukraine.
In His Service
