John 3:16 has been the foundational Scripture right from the start of FEBC Australia 60 years ago. During Easter, we are reminded of Jesus’ profound love. As God incarnate, He took on the brutal punishment for our sins so that we might live eternally with and in Him, filled with His peace, love, and joy.
This year, FEBC Australia turns 60, and for FEBC Association, 80. We are incredibly grateful for God’s faithfulness and that of our partners.
We celebrate our God, who is always close and always desiring to be in relationship with us. In July I had the privilege of visiting the beautiful, predominantly Muslim nation of Kyrgyzstan where I met with the staff of our FEBC partner Radio OK, vibrant Christians who are open about their reliance on God and the joy they have in relationship with Him.
n John 3:16, we see God’s greatest act of generosity: giving His Son for us. This extravagant love empowers us to give freely in return.
