“Give praise to the Lord, proclaim His name; make known among the nations what He has done.” 1 Chronicles 16:8
“As for us, we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.” Acts 4:20
As Christians, our testimony—the story of how God stepped in and changed us through His Son—is a direct reflection of the unquestionable, life-changing power of the Gospel. Stories of how God is working in and through people who hear our broadcasts are so incredibly powerful. My greatest joy is to receive testimonies and meet listeners who speak of the impact of our media ministry. Our programs, follow-up and practical support is changing lives, rebuilding families and bringing purpose as we share Jesus’ hope and Good News.
FEBC speaks words of life – and by partnering together in God’s mission with us, you make what we do possible. The stories and testimonies in this issue are sure to stir feelings of hope and inspiration. We really are blessed to witness first-hand the true miracle of God’s love in action and His Word nourishing millions of lives across the globe.
I am greatly encouraged by the great advances our team in Malawi have made ministering to the Yao Muslims in their villages. It’s wonderful to share with you how much their ministry has grown. I’m excited for what God will do with the new Latalia FM station when they begin broadcasting. If you could be praying for the team in Blantyre and the preparation they are doing there they would be so grateful.
I believe radio and media, used in the right way, fosters a strong sense of community. For many of our listeners in far and remote villages, their hope, connection and encouragement comes solely from our broadcasts. One single radio becomes their church as a whole community gathers around it to hear the Good News. We praise God for our listeners as we continue to encourage them to daily “run with perseverance, the race marked out for them.”
Whilst we celebrate these victories, there is still a deep longing and opportunity for us to continue the momentum and reach many more yet to hear the Gospel. Let’s not slow down. Our heart is to “Let them Hear” and the Good News is such that “we cannot help but speaking about it.”
I am thankful we have you to partner with us in prayer and support for all new believers and those still yet to hear. There truly is great power in testimony.
